The Synopsis

This story takes place in Blaydon, PA a rust–belt town dependent on one main industry. When the plant closes it means that two thirds of the town will be out of work and on welfare. Ryan Perry is Blaydon’s most famous son, a big music star who hasn’t been back home in years. He receives an emotional appeal from his father to stage a benefit concert. Ryan is reluctant but his girlfriend, Zola, persuades him it’s the right thing to do. Returning to Blaydon doesn’t just mean revisiting a town where he has become a stranger, it means confronting the ghosts of his past.
