This story takes place in Blaydon, PA a rust–belt town dependent on one main industry. When the plant closes it means that most of the town will be out of work and on welfare. Ryan Perry is Blaydon’s most famous son, a big music star who hasn’t been back home in years. He receives an emotional appeal from his father to stage a benefit concert. Returning to Blaydon doesn’t just mean revisiting a town where he has become a stranger, it means confronting the ghosts of his past.
